Mechanical and electrical systems show an increasing integration of mechanics with electronics and information
processing. This integration is between the components (hardware) and the information-driven functions (software), resulting
in integrated systems called mechatronic systems. The development of mechatronic systems involves finding an optimal
balance between the basic mechanical structure, sensor and actuators, automatic digital information processing and control
in which embedded systems play a key role. The goal of the 8th IEEE/ASME MESA12, is to bring together experts from
the fields of mechatronic and embedded systems, disseminate the recent advances made in the area, discuss future research
directions, and exchange application experience.
- The papers are in oral session (please check "Conference Program" about your session), each paper is allocated a 20 minute presentation slot. Please limit your presentations to 15 minutes to allow sufficient time for Questions & Answers and laptop turnover.
- Room is equipped with an LCD projector. It is expected that presenters will bring their own laptop computers.
- If you plan to bring only a USB memory stick, it is your responsibility to find a compatible computer for presentation. Conference prepares a number of laptop computers available at the conference site
Notice to authors: Submission of the final paper is not open so far, due to organizational issues within IEEE. We hope to settle these issues until May 11, 2012. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Final paper submission is now open.
Paper Submission Requirements
Manuscripts must be electronically submitted through the conference website http://www.asmemesa.org. Submitted manuscripts should be at most six (6) pages in IEEE two-column format, including figures, tables, and references. Please use the templates at Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings available from the IEEE website to prepare your manuscript. All submissions MUST be in PDF format. Accepted, peer-reviewed papers will be published in the conference proceedings, EI indexed, and submitted to IEEE Xplore.
