Enabling COOKIE in your
browser
For Netscape 3.x
browsers
- Choose the Options menu.
- Select Network Preferences.
- Click on the Protocols tab.
- Verify that the boxes Show an Alert Before Accepting a
Cookie are unchecked.
- If they are not, click on the box
to uncheck it.
- Click OK.
- Close your web browser and restart
it by re-opening it.
For Netscape 4.x and up
browsers
- Choose the Edit menu.
- Select Preferences.
- In the white box on the left, click
once on the word Advanced.
- Verify that the boxes Accept all cookies or Only
accept cookies originating from the same server as the page being viewed
are checked. If they are not, click on the box to enable it.
- Click OK.
- Close your web browser and restart
it by re-opening it.
For Microsoft Internet Explorer
4x
- Click on the View menu.
- Select Internet Options. A tabbed dialog should appear.
- Select the Advance tab. Under the Advance Tab is a scrollable window.
- Scroll through the Security settings until you find Cookie.
- Under Always accept cookies make sure Enable or Prompt is checked
- Under Prompt before accepting cookies make sure Enable or Prompt is checked
- Click OK
to finish.
- Close your web browser.
For Microsoft Internet Explorer
5.x
- Click on the Tools menu.
- Select Internet Options. A tabbed dialog should appear.
- Select the Security tab and click on Custom
Level button.
- Scroll through the list until you
find Cookie.
- Under Allow Cookie that are stored on your computer,
make sure Enable or Prompt is checked
- Under Allow per-session cookie (not stored) make sure Enable or
Prompt is checked
- Click OK
to finish.
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x
- Go to Tools > Internet
Options
- In Internet options
select the Privacy tab
- Click the Advanced
button
- Check Override automatic cookie
handling and also Always allow session cookies
- Click OK
to finish.
